Ever wonder why you poop or don't? Honey it's cold outside! Holy cow it is cold this weekend! I do not want to get out
of bed let alone go outside. I have reflected a lot about this time of year. Only a few years ago I was in marathon training mode. I was hot to trot chasing the dream of finishing the Miami Marathon. I trained hard and finished strong.
I have shared this before, but I believe it is so important I want to reiterate it! I starved
myself eating cold salads, smoothies, and running a million miles a week. I also was
afraid of fat or salt. My body was dehydrated and deficient of nutrients. This is the reality
of what I looked like within minutes of crossing the finish line.
So the truth is you need healthy good salt such as pink salt, warm lemon or lime water,
and healthy fats such as ghee (clarified butter) to lubricate your GI Tract/intestines.
NO MORE COLD WATER or COLD SMOOTHIES!
I was severely malnourished, dehydrated, and constipated even though I ate all the
"right foods!" They were not right for my body.
We need to treat with warm, heavy, moist foods such as soups and warm lemon/lime
water/tea.
Making these simple changes along with routines such as eating at the same time
everyday and going to bed at the same time and rising early can change your whole
world!
After having some major health challenges in the past 6 yrs, I am more passionate than
ever about living a healthy life.
That means physical, emotional, and spiritual health.
I had more than 1 client last week express feelings of overwhelm and anxiety (our world
is a $h!t show right now). I was able to give them simple tools to soothe themselves. It
was amazing to hear the results this week.
The best news is everyone is pooping within an hour of waking up. Are you? I know no
one wants to talk about pooping but it is the first sign that your body is out of balance. It
is the first stage of Dis-EASE. So let's talk about your poop among other things that is
