Day 6 of the New Healthy You Happy Saturday! Here is the link for the self-love meditation. If for some crazy it does

not work, you can go to my website and download it. Wake Up Practice using the Enneagram I hope you have all had time to take and review your Enneagram type. You can begin to practice the Stop Drop and Roll! You know the thing you learned in kindergarten. Begin to notice how your habits control your emotions. For example, say you are an Eight and someone pulls out in front of you. You think "How dare you pull out in front of me! Then the emotion--anger which is the go-to for an average to unhealthy Eight. Which is followed by the habit of blowing the horn and yelling at the driver.

This is how the subconscious mind is running the show. This whole scene is because
the Eight is asleep at the wheel and just living by the habits of the personality. There is a
better way!
STOP DROP AND ROLL
Stop and notice. Oh I just got triggered.
Drop the story which is a defense mechanism to protect you in some way.
Roll into the present moment with conscious awareness.
Just play with it. Maybe you are a 2, 3, or 4 so your go to emotion is shame or fear and
you feel it in your heart. Notice if you are being super sensitive and reacting to a story
that you are telling yourself instead of the present moment.
A 5, 6, or 7 may be super anxious about something and living in your head. Get out of
your head and into the heart. STOP DROP AND ROLL!
Journal Prompt --At the end of the day take time to reflect on your day especially
noticing when you felt prey to the wake‐up call and went on automatic pilot. Remember
how you felt, the feelings that were there, what did you feel or experience in your body?
"Although the world is full of suffering, it is also full of people overcoming it."
Helen Keller

Do something out of your comfort zone this weekend. Challenge yourself in some way.
Maybe a yoga class, walk/run, just move your body and you will feel good!
Namaste,
jen
