WHEW Day 5 You Made It! How are you doing? The comments are great, and I love hearing from you. Sorry the link didn't

work this morning. Not sure what happened... Here is the new link password 8xbrY=x8 Let's talk Yoga and Enneagram

Awareness Practices (Most of this came from my Enneagram Certification Program
modified for your understanding)
1. Practice sensing your body every day. BREATHE. Feel it in your body.
A great practice—each morning as you lay in bed, take several minutes to sense your
feet, then your lower legs, then your upper legs, then your hips and trunk, then your
belly and chest, then your back, then your neck, then your face, then your head.
Bring attention to each of these areas bringing your awareness to the sensations,
vibrations, and temperature in each part of your body.
Inhabit these parts of your body, one at a time. And finish with experiencing and sensing
your entire body at once.
2. Sense your arms and legs.
Periodically pause throughout the day. Take a few deep breaths and sense your arms
and legs.
Try to continue sensing your arms and legs as you go back to doing whatever you were
doing.
Developing your capacity for awareness will open the door to greater awareness to the
inner critic attacks. Parts attack parts...part of me wants to do this and part of me is
pulling in another direction.
URGH pay attention to this part. What does that part need/want?

PAY ATTENTION TO THIS PART!
3. Sense, look, listen.
When you are out and about walking, sense your body moving, your arms and legs,
listen consciously to the sounds you are hearing.
Listen to EVERYTHING.
Notice people and a natural connection.
4. Experience your energy field.
Feel the aliveness of your body, YOUR body is ALIVE! This will bring you into more
present moment.
Your inner critic begins its entry into your consciousness. Pay Attention! Listen! These
are your PARTS talking to you!

5. Now I am Awake.
Take 2-5 minutes to notice what you are aware of in the field of your experience.
“I am aware of...sound... the leaves on the trees outside and their shape...the tightness
in my left shoulder...my thoughts about my partner, life, body, habits..."
This is what the Enneagram and YOGA can do for you. More tomorrow on this. How
can you be more present? Not escape the realness of life?
Much love you all of you!
Namaste,
jen
