What is anxiety costing you and your family? What is the real cost of anxiety? How many times have you caught yourself
not breathing, because of fear or anxiety? How many times have you caught yourself not going out to an event or even making a call to a friend, because you were overwhelmed? How often are you ignoring text messages or calls from your closest friends simply, because you don't have the energy to have a conversation? Maybe you just have racing thoughts that just won't stop. The thoughts are relentless and feel like they take over your whole mind. These thoughts, feelings, and emotions are real, and they are paralyzing. The mood swings, intense emotions, the feeling of being on the hamster wheel constantly. Nothing seems to calm the nervous system. So you are always in flight or fight as if a tiger is literally chasing you. This increases your cortisol thus your immune system becomes compromised then you wonder why you are exhausted and get sick.
Who does this remind you of? Yourself? Your child? Your sister? You know someone
who is struggling with anxiety or depression right now. I want to give you some tools to
help today.
1. Breathe-Breathing is the best medicine! 4-7-8 is a great place to start.
Breathe in for 4 and hold for 7 then out for 8. This is the fastest and easiest
way to get out of your head and into the body.
2. Walk barefoot and visualize your energy going down into the earth. This will
calm your nervous system in less than a minute. Affirm I AM SAFE!
3. Sleep is critical for your mental health. Go to bed at the same time every
night and try to rise at the same time. Even if you lay in the bed and read.
Create a solid peaceful nighttime routine that calms your system. You can
drink warm lemon water or chamomile tea or golden milk (warm milk with
turmeric and cinnamon).
4. Routine. Routine. Routine. I cannot say this enough. This is the foundation of
all health-mind, body, and spirit. A solid routine with daily morning practices,
regular eating times, and habits that are predictable and consistent are sure
to decrease anxiety.
5. Eating foods that calm your body. There is actually a science to the eating for
your body. For example, if you are cold, light, and dry all the time, you need
to eat warm, heavy, and moist foods to soothe and nourish your mind and
body.
The problem is we crave the things that may do us more harm than good. You know the
skinny girl who is scattered and anxious all the time who lives on salads and
smoothies-dry, light, cold? Or the angry/irritated family member who always eats red
meat or extra hot sauce--the fire and heat wants more of it.
Habits are hard to change! And, I actually believe our thoughts, feelings, and beliefs
create our habits that lead to our emotions--therefore, I believe when we understand our
thoughts, feelings, and beliefs i.e. the Personality we can change our
PERSONAL-REALITY.
I am going to be offering some free workshops in the next 3 weeks. I need to know
times that you are available to attend. I am thinking either lunch time or 5:00 or maybe
Saturday/Sunday for the whole family. Please let me know what works for you. Simply

Back to the real cost--consider missed opportunities, missed work, missed events,
countless days of crying, anger outburst, fights with family/friends, struggling, etc...
Consider how your life could be different when you learn to manage these emotions in a
different way.
Anxiety sucks hard! I know! I struggled with it for many years and took every drug on the
market. None of which helped all leaving me numb and frustrated. I promise there is a
better way to handle it.
I want to you to feel the deep inner peace and contentment I know is available to every
single person who is reading this email. I know there is a better way.
