Getting out of the Grind! From Burnout to Badass! The Holiday Season is Here and I am feeling it! Are you? Do you feel
like you’re running on empty? Are you trying to juggle work, family, life and feel like a hamster on a wheel? Do you feel like you are trapped in the relentless demands of hustle culture—striving to be everything for everyone but losing themselves in the process? Sometime between 2015- 2017 I found myself STUCK in this Hustle Culture! I was doing all the things! I was working like a dog, completing my Yoga Teacher Training (YTT), running marathons in multiple states, raising a teenager who had raging crazy hormones and was making poor decisions, trying to show up as a wife, friend, sister, leader, etc… The list goes on and on. I was literally doing all the things! And guess what happened? CRASH AND BURN! I fell apart! My relationships were pressed, my health went to hell in a hand basket, my work no longer felt good, and I was on empty. This was me at the end of the Miami Marathon! I was literally falling apart in every area of my life!

When we’re constantly chasing external success, it take a toll on our bodies and our
mental health. Chronic stress can lead to health issues like hypothyroidism, adrenal
fatigue, or IBS. Our relationships suffer! And emotionally, it keeps us stuck in patterns of
self-doubt, imposter syndrome, and ultimately burnout.

Finding Your Way Back to Balance
Reclaiming your life starts with recognizing that you deserve peace, joy and
abundance—not just more achievements or tasks to check off. Here are a few tips to
start breaking the cycle:
1. Redefine Success: What if success wasn’t about doing it all? What if it was
about feeling present, connected, and at peace?
2. Prioritize Self-Care: Small daily acts of care—whether it’s a short walk,
mindfulness practice, or saying no to one extra obligation—can have a huge
impact.
3. Let Go of Perfection: No one has it all figured out, no matter how it seems
on the outside. Release the need to be perfect and allow yourself to just be.
